What We Built
PaperVision AI is a research paper visualization and summarization engine built on two core principles: visual clarity and absolute privacy.
Privacy-First Architecture
When you upload a PDF, text is extracted entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. The raw PDF file never leaves your device. Only the extracted text is sent — encrypted — to our AI pipeline, and even that text is processed ephemerally: it is never stored on any server we operate.
This makes PaperVision AI safe for:
- Unpublished research and conference submissions under embargo
- Proprietary technical reports
- Sensitive biomedical or clinical studies
- Any paper you are not yet ready to share publicly
